06About the studio
Makers who design and write code.
We started Pyxcraft to remove the gap between a design and the thing that actually ships. Digital products should look exceptional and work flawlessly, and that only happens reliably when the same people are responsible for both.

The premise
One team, from first sketch to production.
In the usual agency set-up, strategy is handed to designers, designs are handed to developers, and something is lost at every handover. Fonts drift. Edge cases get forgotten. The empty state nobody designed gets improvised at midnight before launch.
Pyxcraft is built to avoid that. Our designers write front-end code and our engineers sit in design reviews. Decisions are made in the same room, in hours, by the people who will live with them.
It is a smaller way of working, deliberately. It means we take on fewer projects at a time and give each one the attention it needs to ship properly.
Experience
Fifteen years inside real products.
Our design leadership was built inside large organisations: enterprise platforms, global consulting and publishing. That is where we learned to make complicated work feel simple, and to prove it with research and numbers.
“We don't design screens. We design decisions.”

Principles
How we make decisions.
Four things we hold to on every project, whatever the size.
- 01
Speed without shortcuts
Fast turnaround, without cutting corners. Small team, direct decisions, no layers of account management.
- 02
One team
The people who design it are the people who build it. Nothing is lost in a handover because there is no handover.
- 03
Built to standard
WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility and Core Web Vitals targets on every project, treated as requirements rather than extras.
- 04
Straight talking
Clear weekly updates, honest timelines and plain English. You will always know where the project stands.
Who we work with
People who care about the details.
Early-stage founders
A first version that proves the idea and does not need rebuilding when it works.
Growing product teams
Extra design and engineering capacity that slots into your sprints and your codebase.
Established organisations
A website or internal tool rebuilt properly, with accessibility and performance built in.
05The bar
Every project ships against the same standard.
Accessibility and performance are requirements we build to, not boxes we tick at the end. They are in the brief, in the components and in the release checklist.
